Terms of Use
Effective: 7 September 2026 Developer: Abdelrahim Kattab Address: Al Rayyan, Qatar Contact: wwte@abdokattab.com
The agreement between you and the developer of WWT, covering the licence to use the app and the terms of a Pro subscription.
This Agreement is with Us, not Apple
This is an agreement between you and Abdelrahim Kattab ("we", "us"), the developer of WWT - not with Apple. We alone are responsible for WWT and its contents. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for WWT.
Your Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use WWT on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, redistribute, rent, lease, sell, reverse-engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
This licence does not grant you rights to the film, television or artwork data shown in the app, which belongs to its respective owners.
Pro Subscriptions
WWT is free to use. A Pro subscription is optional.
What free includes: unlimited saved titles, one watchlist, and banner ads.
What Pro adds: unlimited watchlists, and no ads.
Plans: monthly at $2.99 and yearly at $29.99, each with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Prices are shown in your local currency in the app before you buy.
Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. After any free trial, the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price.
Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
Free trial: if you subscribe during a free trial, any unused portion of that trial is forfeited.
Managing and cancelling: manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in iOS Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
Refunds: purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
If a subscription lapses: nothing you saved is deleted. If you have more watchlists than the free tier allows, your oldest watchlist stays fully editable and the others become read-only - still visible, still exportable, still intact. Subscribing again restores full access to all of them.
Acceptable Use
Use WWT lawfully. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the app's relay server, circumvent its rate limits, or use it other than through the app itself. We may suspend access to the relay service where use threatens its availability for others.
Third-Party Content and Services
WWT displays data from The Movie Database and other third-party sources, and links to third-party streaming services. We do not control that content and do not warrant its accuracy - release dates, availability and streaming provider information change frequently and can be wrong or out of date.
Where WWT gives you access to third-party services, you agree to comply with those services' own terms. Those third parties are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement in respect of your use of their services, and may enforce it against you.
Maintenance and Support
We provide support at wwte@abdokattab.com. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for WWT.
Warranty
WWT is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
In the event of any failure of WWT to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to WWT. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are our responsibility, not Apple's.
Nothing here limits statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
Product Claims
We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to WWT or your use of it, including product liability claims, any claim that WWT fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
Intellectual Property
If a third party claims that WWT infringes their intellectual property rights, we - not Apple - are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
Legal Compliance
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement. Upon your acceptance of these terms, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Changes, Governing Law and Contact
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one at this address, and the effective date above changes when they do. Continued use after a change means accepting the revised terms.
This agreement is governed by the laws of Qatar, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
